Bulk edit makes it exponentially faster to get a birds-eye view of all building and space data in a LeaseUp survey
✨ Article summary: LeaseUp has introduced a new bulk edit feature that enables users to edit building and space data across entire surveys on a single screen. Additional changes to building and space data fields, such as adding or reordering fields, now apply across all buildings in a survey, eliminating the need for repetitive steps to customize survey data.
Today we’re thrilled to begin releasing a series of new features that will make LeaseUp’s CRE data platform faster and more efficient for brokerage teams to streamline their process and get more deals done.
The brand-new bulk edit feature enables you to quickly edit building and space data across an entire survey on one screen. This has been one of our most-requested features and we’re excited to roll it out to users beginning today.
To access bulk edit, open a survey and click the pencil icon at the top of the page. This will open a spreadsheet view containing all of the building and space data in the survey, viewed in separate building and space tabs. Each row corresponds to a building or space in the survey, and each column corresponds to a building or space field.
Bulk edit makes it exponentially faster to get a birds-eye view of all building data in a spreadsheet-style table and make quick edits as needed. Add/edit buildings, fields, and deal info in seconds, and ship a digital survey or PDF to clients faster than ever.
Also new in this release: We’ve updated how building and space data works in a LeaseUp survey. Previously, if you wanted to add a custom field to a building or space in a survey, you had to create the new field manually for each individual building/space.
Now, any changes to building or space fields, like adding a new field or changing the order of fields, will be reflected across all buildings and spaces in the survey. No more manually creating custom fields for each individual listing.
Here’s what else is new with this update:
- Customize data presentation for client reports: The table view of a survey can now be customized to show the fields that are most important to the search.
- Building and space tables are now synced across all buildings in a survey. Add/remove a field or change field order/name on one building or space, and that gets reflected across every building or space in the entire survey.
- You can now delete LeaseUp’s default fields, which means no more empty fields in the table.
These new building data management features are now live for all LeaseUp users.
